Differences in RCS vs SMS:
The major difference between RCS and SMS is that RCS is considered as an upgrade over the SMS channel. RCS transforms traditional SMS by supporting features like branded and verified senders, rich media, and interactive content, offering a more personalized and engaging messaging experience.
The RCS Business Messaging channel includes branded, verified senders; rich content like media, cards, and buttons; as well as additional data, including delivery and read receipts.

Note: All features available to SMS are also available on RCS channels
